I have been struggling with achilles pain stemming from Haglunds deformity for years. After getting a procedure done to address my hanglunds, I still had a lot of sensitivity in my heel after running quicker paces. Hetta's Alma Tempo shoe fit my feet securely, and allowed me to run at quicker (marathon and half marathon) paces without the sensitivity and soreness that usually accompanied those paces. I am happy to be able to feel like my old self, without the feeling that my stride is compensating for pain.

FYI: I am a usual 8 in running shoes, but I sized up a half size and the fit worked great!

I feel like my form is perfect wearing these! I’ve been getting back to running and I wanted shoes that have the perfect fit for someone who is getting back to this sport. I feel like the shoes help me spring forward without having to think about it.

Definitely order .5 size up. For thicker socks I’d go a whole size up.

I've been testing the shoe now for seveal months and what can I say? It is an awesome allrounder. I am using it for tempo runs as well as medium and long distance training, partially even on softer ground. And it feels great - even after running 20+ kilometers in it. I can totally recommend the shoes (and my feet are usually quite picky).

I started running in the Alma Tempos while coming back to running after an Achilles injury- these are the only shoes I could run in comfortably without pain for the first 2 months back. The fitted heel cup fit snugly enough to allow the back of the shoe cuff to sit lower, so the heel has a feel of stability without any fabric/pressure/rubbing on the Achilles. The shoes are light and fast for speed workouts and comfortable enough for up to 16+ miles on a long run. My favorite workout shoes!
