By tuning the foam firmness in each model, we created three distinct experiences with the same fit and design: Cruise, Tempo, and Speed. Each is calibrated with its own level of propulsion and flex to match different types of runs.
Velopropulsion midsole
The Alma features a midsole system built to manage impact and return energy more efficiently. A tuned Pebax® plate sits between supercritical foam layers, allowing us to precisely control stiffness and cushioning without excessive rigidity. By varying the foam’s firmness across the lineup, we created three distinct rides—Cruise, Tempo, and Speed—with the same fit and style but different levels of propulsion and flex points for different runs.
Unlike traditional carbon plates designed around male biomechanics, Pebax® provides the flexibility female runners need for smooth transitions, stable heel landings, and efficient toe-off—reducing stress on joints while delivering responsive propulsion where it matters most.

Sculpted at the heel and wrapped through the instep, this is a fit that moves as one with your stride. Stretch TPU mesh breathes and adapts, while targeted support keeps slippage in check over distance.
Pebax® plate
Unlike traditional carbon plates, Pebax® provides the flexibility and reduces stress on joints while delivering responsive propulsion. Additionally, we designed this plate to provide heel stability
TPU mesh upper
Breathable, fast-drying open mesh moves with the foot and sheds water quickly.
Fitted instep
The lacing and internal structure wrap the instep to hold the foot securely in place.
Smart heel fit
A lower ankle collar works with our nitrogen pocket heel to anchor the foot without rubbing the ankle bone or pressing on the Achilles.
Supercritical foam midsole
Nitrogen-infused foam provides lightweight cushioning with fast rebound.
